How Ordering Works

Start with a farmer account. DOC approval comes before ordering.

Create your farmer account and receive your permanent DC Number.

DOC approval

DOC reviews new registrations before customers can order.

Order

Approved customers can sign in, choose their chicks and delivery location, and review the total before confirming.

Delivery or collection

DOC confirms the arrangements for your selected delivery location.

Start with your DC Number

Register with your contact and delivery details, identity information and ID document. Your permanent DC Number identifies your farmer account and will be your EFT payment reference.

You can sign in and manage your profile while DOC reviews the registration. Approval is required before ordering.

Ordering periods and delivery

DOC opens ordering periods with a clear cut-off. Approved customers can choose a delivery location and order chicks in multiples of 100. Review the total and expected delivery or collection date before confirming.

The selected delivery location determines the applicable transport rate. DOC will confirm delivery or collection information. Use the delivery information confirmed by DOC for your consignment.

Payments and collection

The confirmed operational rule allows partial payments, with full payment required before collection. Payment and next-step information will follow separately after your order is received. Please contact DOC for assistance with payment arrangements.
